Old Unichema Site, Bromborough, UK

Removal of filling/packaging equipment

We have an ongoing relationship withDiageo, our most recent project in 2019, was the removal of two bottle filling lines from their Shieldhall site. These projects can be challenging for our personnel due to the fact the site is operational and health and safety is critical. St. James’ Gate Factory, Dublin, Ireland

9 x 200,000 litre stainless steel fermentation vessels were purchased by SBS Ayrshire in 2018 from St James’ Gate Brewery in Dublin.  We chartered a ship for these to be sent to another one of our clients in Norway.

Refresco Juice Factory, Dachwig, Germany

In 2018, 30 x 95,700 litre tanks were purchased by SBS from a juice plant in Dachwig, Germany.  We resold these tanks and they were shipped to various location in Europe including; Scotland, England, Ireland, Norway, Denmark, and Belgium.

Tullibardine Distillery, Auchterarder, UK

In 2016, SBS Ayrshire supplied and installed 6 x 32,000 litre brand new spirit holding vessels.  These tanks were delivered to site, where our personnel had a one-day window to install all 6 tanks.  We fabricated vessel carriers to carefully manoeuvre the tanks in through a low level building and then finally upright and position, where they now sit uniform in a…

Industrial Chemicals, London, UK

Industrial Chemicals contracted SBS Ayrshire to dismantle a redundant chemical plant.  This was challenging due to surrounding environment on a top tier COMAH site.  Every part of the plant was required to be cut into small manageable pieces and lowered to the ground as anything falling from the plant could have had catastrophic consequences.  This project lasted around 4 months.

Waterford Brewery, Ireland

We purchased 6 x 60,000 litre fermentation vessels from Waterford Brewery, Ireland. These were removed by our personnel and shipped from Waterford Port to one of our clients in Norway.

Chemring Energetics, Ayrshire, UK
