Description

SBS Ayrshire is pleased to offer for sale a complete 6 MW Caterpillar G3520E gas-fired power generation plant, comprising three containerised 2,000 kW gas engine generator sets, together with associated electrical equipment, control panels, cooling systems and auxiliary plant.

Manufactured in 2008 and commissioned in 2011, these heavy-duty Caterpillar gas generators are designed for continuous industrial power generation applications.

Each unit is powered by a Caterpillar G3520E gas engine coupled to a Caterpillar SR4B HV high-voltage alternator, delivering 2,000 kW electrical output at 1,500 RPM and 50 Hz.

The plant is supplied with Terberg engine control panels, acoustic enclosures, radiator structures, 11 kV switchgear, cooling systems and associated auxiliary equipment.

With a combined installed generating capacity of 6 MW, this equipment represents an opportunity for power generation operators, industrial facilities, independent power producers and energy project developers seeking high-capacity gas-fired generating equipment.
